WHAT TYPE OF CLASS AM I TAKING?
Full Body Circuit Conditioning: Join us to practice 5 foundational movement patterns that our body requires for every day function: push, pull, squat, hinge, carry. Consider it a very ‘classic’ gym approach that uses a variety of equipment.The focus here is on FEWER reps with greater load to encourage muscle development. Most importantly we keep in mind that every individuals ‘strong’ looks and feels different!
Semi Private Strength: See “FULL BODY CIRCUIT CONDITIONING” to get a feel for what the exercise plan will look like. BUT, this time, bring your kid(s), they can muck about in the gym while you get a great work out in. Keep in mind with littles afoot there will only be TWO participants per time slot.
Rhythm Reps: With a mat and set of free weights that are all your own for 50 minutes we turn down the lights and blast the music for a high intensity workout that focuses on endurance, balance, coordination and FUN. If you have ever been to a beat based spin class and LOVED IT- this will be a match for you.
Express Endurance: This is a great full body workout that is higher in intensity and reps. Here the focus is on increased overall movement of the body. We will do a variety of movements for time, continually through the 30 minute class.
Express Circuit:This class is the same as the full body circuit training except we focus only on one section of the body. Upper or Lower, depending on day. This is the best way to use our 30 minutes. Obviously, if someone can attend BOTH days in the week of this- that is ideal.
Barbell Beats: Similar to Rhythm Reps, you’ll find yourself in a ‘party’ like setting but here we dial back the reps and incorporate more rest as we move around the barbell. All participants must be able to lift at least 22lbs as that is the base weight of the 4 foot barbell. You’ll hopefully leave this class feeling invigorated and powerful.
